PHCasinoGuide is free to use. To keep it that way, we earn money when some readers sign up at a casino through our links. This page explains how that works and what it does and doesn’t change.
How we earn money
Some of the casinos on our site have an affiliate agreement with us. When you click one of our “Visit site” buttons and open an account, the casino may pay us a fee. That fee can be a one-time payment for a new player, a small share of what the casino earns from that player over time, or a mix of both.
You never pay anything extra. The offer you get is the same as, or sometimes better than, what you’d get by going to the casino directly.
What commission can’t buy
Money doesn’t decide who gets on our list. These rules don’t bend:
- Only PAGCOR-licensed casinos are listed. No fee can get an offshore or unlicensed site onto our ranking.
- Commission counts for 10% of a score at most. The other 90% comes from licence, payments, games, bonus terms and mobile play. See how we rate casinos.
- No one can buy the #1 spot. Our top pick is the casino with the best overall score.
- We publish the bad along with the good. Every casino we list has a “Watch out for” section, whether we work with it or not.
Sponsored placements
From time to time, a casino may pay to be featured in a specific spot, such as a banner. If that ever happens, the spot will be clearly labelled “Sponsored” so you always know the difference between an ad and our own ranking. [CHECK: remove this section if you don’t sell sponsored spots.]
How to spot an affiliate link
Our casino links go through addresses that start with phcasinoguide.com/go/. That’s how we track which casino a reader visited. These links are marked so search engines know they’re commercial, in line with Google’s guidelines.
